Claudia came from a shelter in Indiana. She is a very sweet girl. She is about 5 years old and weighs around 30lbs.

This is what Claudia's foster mom has to say about her... Claudia is as sweet as they come, and is just the most eager to please dog I have ever been around. She immediately responds to sit, stay, down, come and leave it. At bedtime, when I point to the bedroom, she's there immediately. She is so happy to just lay next to her person, and receive lots of pets and scratches. She will nudge you with her nose if she feels she is not getting enough.

It seems as if someone, as some point in her life took the time to train her, but yet, I can't help but think she wasn't treated too well, either. She is skittish when someone raises their voice, and if you put your hands over your head for any reason, she cowers, as if she has been abused.

Claudia is completely housebroken, but does seem to have a small bladder. If she does not get to go outside every 4-5 hours, she will have an accident in the house.

Although Claudia does not sleep in her crate now, she is fully trained. When she first "moved in", she immediately went to her crate with just a point, and was fine. Claudia has really bonded with her canine foster sister, but is not very social with other dogs. She ignores them in neutral settings, but is protective if they visit her foster home. She would probably do best in a one-dog household, or with a submissive companion.

Being that Claudia is older, and not very active, she would be in heaven in a home with perhaps an older person who would have the time to just cuddle her every day.
