Gracie is an extremely well behaved dog. She is fully housebroken, and can be trusted in her present foster home without having to be crated. She listens very well, and has not tried to jump back on certain pieces of furniture which are off limits. She accompanied us to Brewster's Ice Cream after the adoption event on 8/19 and patiently stood in line with us, and was rewarded by the ice cream staff with her own scoop of ice cream with a dog biscuit on top! One thing we have noticed is that no matter where she is, either out in public or at her foster home, she always seems to be looking for her special someone who is gone. She was rescued from a kill shelter in North Carolina, where she came in as a stray. She is obviously missing her former owner, but we have promised her that we will find her a new guardian who will love her, and adore her, and never lose her.
